In a landmark achievement for Mexican logistics, the state of Guanajuato has taken a decisive step toward establishing Celaya as the main logistics center of the Bajío. With an investment of 2.5 billion pesos, the first phase of construction has begun on the second dry port in the region, Puerto Interior 2.0, a project that promises to revolutionize freight transport in central Mexico.

Strategically located next to the Honda assembly plant, this new inland port 2.0, the result of an alliance between the government of Guanajuato, Guanajuato Puerto Interior GPI and the Azvi Group, will become a collection, storage and distribution center for goods from various sectors, such as metalworking, automotive, food and household appliances.
