This site is one of the last remaining undeveloped sites. Its slope means that it is south facing, which is most desired in the Hot lowveld, ensuring shade and a cooler house can be built here. The stand has trees such as Sheppards Tree, Marula, Rockfig and Knobthorn. Large Granite Builders and rocks also add an attractive feature to the stand.

Lissataba is 30 years old and a well established 2,500 hectare private reserve based in Limpopo province. The reserve borders the Olifants river on which a large section of the houses are situated. With the exception of Leopard the reserve does not house any of the big five. The general game includes the popular species such as Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Nyala, Kudu, waterbuck, Impala, Klipspringer, Duiker, Warthog and Jackal. But one also gets some special species such as Sharpes Grysbok, Eland, Brown Hyena, and Sable. Hippo and Crocodile also live along the Olifants River. There are 5 dams and the reserve of which three have bird hides. The reserve is 50km on road from our closest town Hoedspruit and located North East on the Northern Bank of the Olifants. There is a good network of roads around the reserve for game viewing and Lissataba allows walking and cycling.
