It is well served by public transport, including buses and the Trindade metro station, allowing easy travel to different parts of the city.Santo Ildefonso is a parish that combines history, culture, animation and gastronomy.FAP - Casas de Camões Building, built from scratch about 100 years ago, used to be a residence and a car garage belonging to the creator of the 1st Portuguese sports car brand (FAP), who was also the winner of the 1st Boavista Circuit, the most famous Portuguese city car circuit, which occurred in 1931.Inherited by the original owner's youngest granddaughter, the building has been wholly demolished, except for the façade, which is exactly as it was at the time, thereby giving rise to the new construction.Located in an area designated as an "urban rehabilitation area", it stands in an artery with strategic connections to both the typical and historical area (Ribeira) and the more contemporary area (Boavista).It is on the main road to Porto’s city centre (Rua de Camões) and has all the services by the door, such as restaurants, traditional shops, pharmacies, gardens, hospital, buses and the underground.
