Hello, my name is James Hensley, my friends know me as Jamie. I started working in sales in 1997, for a family-owned industrial company that was heavy in the mining and chemical industries.  I spent many years working with all levels of people in the mining and chemical industries from engineers to general labor staff. I did a variety of jobs from troubleshooting technical issues, helping with the purchasing agents, and on to order fulfillment by delivery and stocking. For much of my career, I spent a lot of time paying attention to the details and processes that helped keep million-dollar operations in good operating order.

 

     I left this work to do some of the hardest work that I have ever done.  I came home to be a stay-at-home Dad to my two young children. This was a challenge of a lifetime, but one that I enjoyed more than any other that I had ever been called to do. It was then that I realized just how important the right home actually was for a family and my interest in real estate sales began.  As time went by the children became more and more independent and I found myself in a position to re-enter the traditional workforce. I needed work that would give me the flexibility to be there for my children and also make ends meet.  So I determined to become a licensed Real Estate Agent in 2005. I initially worked extremely part-time, but now the time has come that I can devote full time to helping others.

 

     So through many career changes and New Beginning after New Beginning, I chose to not go back to the industrial world.  I  chose to use my talents and experience to help other families find a place that makes them feel at home. I enjoy working with new home buyers as well as those who are ready to move up because of family or work needs. I also, enjoy working with clients who have come to a point in life where smaller is better and they want to downsize.
