Lee and his wife Rachel live in Mars Hill where they both were born and raised. They have two children, Sarah and Tyler; and three grandchildren. Lee works for the N.C. Courts system and has been an active real estate agent and broker for over 40 years. He is a graduate of Mars Hill University and The American University in Washington, D.C., with degrees in International Business and Latin American Studies.
Lee has been a leader in many local community service organizations, and has devoted the past 25+ years to the conservation of Bailey Mountain in Mars Hill. He encourages all to enjoy a hike at the Bailey Mountain Preserve.
