Maryam attended Bergen County Technical School with a major in Commercial Art and Graphic Design and has earned an Associate Degree in Business. Maryam's ethnic background is German and Afghan. Fluent in English, German, with a sprinkle of Spanish thrown in for good measure, effective communication is Maryam's forte. This valuable skill gives her the distinct advantage of being able to comfortably work and communicate with clientele from different cultural backgrounds. Maryam has done several internships at bakeries in the area, as well as worked in the food industry. She enjoyed the customer interaction and ability to connect with people while working in these industries. With a background as an interdisciplinary artist, Maryam plans to channel her passion for art and business into drafting unique real estate experiences for her clients. Maryam's paternal family is chock full of entrepreneurs who have their own businesses and sound investments in real estate. As a young child, Maryam was surrounded by real estate agents who often provided childcare for her. Maryam became intrigued by the real estate industry through these interactions. That, together with the opportunity to have a flexible work schedule, was what sparked Maryam's desire to pursue a career in real estate.
