On January 1, 2025, I had the opportunity to merge with Century 21 House of Realty and to increase the presence of Commercial Real Estate in the Southern Illinois Region as well as continue to provide Residential Services to our new clients and existing customers looking to buy or sell. 

I bring more than 54 years experience of operating Dave Thompson Realty and am excited about the wealth of knowledge and creativity my team will contribute to the continued success of the Century 21 House of Realty team.  

I am a Marion High School, Southern Illinois University graduate and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.  A member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Marion Rotary Club.   A four-time recipient of Egyptian Board of  Relators "Realtor of the Year" award.  I also sit on the board of the Southern Illinois Coalition for Homeless.

I am proud to call Marion and Southern Illinois home with my wife, Marlene.  I have two children in the Milwaukee area and two granddaughters.  I enjoy golf, gardening and traveling.
